My PM declutter starts with putting the kettle on…the evening is winding down and it’s time for some sleepy time tea.  In the 5 mins it takes to steep tea I make it a habit to declutter/prep for the next day.  Set up the coffee for the morning, schedule the dishwasher to run overnight, soak the kitchen sink, pick up bits & pieces for the recycling bin, put away clothing, and do a quick tidy & lock up.

That five min task saves me so much time during my morning routine when the start of the day can pile on quickly. Oh I know it!

This past spring and summer I decluttered and downsized my garden and house plants which is already saving me an abundance of maintenance time.  It was so much fun giving away truckloads of perennials and countless plants to some lovely people in my community that I met on VarageSale.  Also ticked off my To Do List was a massive digital housekeeping project to streamline file storage. No more fishing around folders & files.

Things are lighter, easier, and timely to manage and that feels so good!
