Time is flying by and it’s been a minute since my last post! In previous entries, I’ve noted “blessing it forward” and it’s worth repeating…Recently I cleaned out my garden shed filled with “projects” and various things I have acquired from Lee Valley that I realized I was never going to get to. So it was time to do a hard and fast edit and get back to what I was using in the garden and bless forward some things that others are in need of.
The Varage Sale App is truly about supporting your local community – I’ve met some wonderful people on this application and together we’re all helping each other with a little networking of our stuff! Varage Sale also comes in handy when I’m helping people get organized as it is another way to reach those that are in need of various household items. Either the client or myself can post items, arrange a time for pick up, and it’s blessed forward! Done and ticked off the To Do List!
But…editing your stuff and getting organized can be truly overwhelming on your own. It’s easier to save it for another day, stuff it all in a closet or storage area and try to forget about it. Much like I was doing with my garden shed until one day I just about injured myself reaching for something and that was it – it was time to deal with it. For some people, getting organized is a blinding task – they’ve hit a wall and that’s where I come in. We can make a fresh start together. It doesn’t have to mean getting rid of all your stuff when perhaps a good edit of things you’re not using will create space. However, it’s the process of going through that cupboard, closet, or box when one realizes all sorts of possibilities and a path forward and maybe you’ll bless someone along the way.
Let’s make a fresh start together – it all starts with a free consultation and some fresh eyes on your current situation. Whether it’s a kitchen reset or a room refresh, I would love to help you explore new possibilities in your living space. Contact niki@tickoffthelist.ca.
