Having retired from corporate life, I have recently edited my office wardrobe to barely business casual.  Three Sally Ann bags later, I find myself in the midst of exploring a new look and on a budget!

I have little patience for shopping so thankfully my husband loves to shop.  I am aiming to source a few pieces that I can mix & match and build on.  For starters, I will be visiting local consignment store, Beyond Consignment, on Gibsons Way as well as the other womens’ apparel shops around town.  There are all sorts of post winter sales to check out so the hunt is on!

Since I can’t be in the garden in the thick of winter, I’m pulling everything out of closets and drawers to clean and organize right down to shoes.  As Mumsy used to say, you need to get into a mess to get out of one.  I don’t allow things to accumulate for long as we actively exercise the rule that when a new clothing item is purchased, an existing piece of clothing in the closet has to go!  It’s paid off in spades!

Wardrobes require maintenance ~ you’d be surprised just how much accumulates when you haven’t seen it all for a while ~ for some it can be overwhelming to downsize let alone reorganize countless clothing items from season to season but it can be done, lucky for you I love to organize!

PS ~ Tick off the List is a home help service so if you need some help getting your closet organized this spring, email me, maybe I can help you bless it forward!
