As the weather turns windy, wet, and cold, this is a good time to refresh indoor living spaces so here’s some inspiration from yours truly;
- Rearranging furniture & decor is a simple way to tweak a room especially if you have to dust under it anyway;
- Adding a few throw blankets and cushions makes for cozy living;
- Home heating can really take a toll on indoor plants so when it’s raining, I place them on my deck and patio to wash away dust and give them a brief refresh;
- I don’t think there is a season when I’m not organizing or cleaning something. By mid November I’ll be pulling out a few Christmas decorations to add a splash of colour in various rooms;
- While walking Blu this fall, I’ll pick up a few fir & cedar branches to decorate my front door planters.
As we head into shorter days, these are simple and inexpensive touches that can make all the difference to your indoor living this fall.
