My husband and I enjoyed a week long kayak fishing trip in the Garden Bay area summer 2015 and during that trip we started talking more seriously about where we wanted to live with him retiring soon.  In a blink, we returned to my Sunshine Coast roots the following summer and here we are a decade lived and loved.  Where did ten years go!?

Before we loaded the moving truck, we parted with a ton of stuff and when we arrived and settled into our new home, I think we kept the local thrift stores fully stocked for several months!  Over time, life’s things do accumulate and it can really sneak up on you in greater quantities.  I’m really going hard this year to part with things that absolutely do not have a purpose in the household, if we are not actively using them, they are GONZO!  Even household items in good condition that I’ve posted on VarageSale, if they aren’t selling, then it’s simply time to bless them forward.

There is only so much time and energy in my battery in a given day and my garden & bees are calling.  My husband and I are beekeepers, he likes to actively golf and I’m taking up a few lessons myself.  Time is precious and it is truly flying by ~ I want to do things I love to do and spend less time sorting through and being weighed down by worldly possessions.

Lucky for you, my passion is helping people declutter time-wasting stuff so you can live organized and enjoy more time doing what YOU love to do!  Pondering a home reset?  Let’s chat!  I’ll bring the fresh ideas and that will cost you nothing but time.  Email me anytime at niki@tickoffthelist.ca.
